Our scooters and motorcycles are built to the highest standards and are designed to deliver first class performance and reliability. This is backed up by Piaggio and Derbi Assist; a protection package designed to provide you with roadside assistance should you have a problem such as a puncture.

Free on all new Piaggio and Derbi scooters over 50cc purchased from an authorised dealer, Piaggio and Derbi Assist gives you the protection of cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year throughout the UK. You can enjoy the reassurance of Piaggio and Derbi Assist for 12 months from the date of registration of your vehicle, which includes one call out more than a mile from your home. Before your cover expires, you will be offered a preferential rate to renew your cover for an additional 12 months.

In many instances, the problem can be rectified at the roadside allowing you to continue your journey. The cover also includes any other rider using your vehicle, provided they have permission and are insured and licensed to ride the vehicle. Should your vehicle require further assistance, it will be taken to the nearest authorised dealer or suitable local garage within 50 miles for repair. Home start is not included in this cover but can be added to your policy for just £39.99 and allows a maximum of 4 call outs at or near your home within the 12 months. Should you need assistance, all you need to do is call our 24 hours emergency number 0844 801 0752. Your call will be taken by our partner Call Assist who will deal with your requirement swiftly and organise everything that needs to be done to get you moving as quickly as possible. You will be required to provide them with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your registration number
  • The number of the phone you are calling from
  • Your exact location, including the road you are on, plus nearest road junction if possible
